Pauline Shinlever White

Pauline Shinlever White, 89, died Tuesday, October 2, 2012. The native of Atlanta, Georgia was the wife of the late Senior Chief Robert Doyle White U.S. Navy, Ret. As a military wife, she and her husband traveled and transferred around the country. Mrs. White was retired from the Kmart Corporation and the Commissary at Hunter Army Airfield. She loved bingo and cooking, had a passion for life, a spunky and feisty exuberance that was clearly contagious to anyone that met her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother that deeply loved and cared for her family.

Surviving are her son, Wayne D. "Skipper" White of Savannah; grandsons, Robert D. "Robbie" White and his wife, Alison of Pooler; Christopher D. "Chris" Sell of Savannah; three great grandchildren, Dustin, Dylan and Alana and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her daughter Sandra White Sell.

Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 5, 2012 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Graveside Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 6, 2012 in Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery, conducted by her nephew, Donald Bizzell.
